Man taken into custody after climbing GWB, causing major traffic delays
A climber shut down traffic on the George Washington Bridge on Saturday. Police say a man started climbing on the south side Manhattan tower just before noon. Lanes were closed so police could get him down. The 24-year-old was eventually taken into custody and taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
