Bag ban in effect at Wildwood boardwalks, beaches after Memorial Day weekend incident
Beach-goers heading to Wildwood, New Jersey this summer will have to leave their backpacks and large bags behind. The bag ban on all boardwalks and beaches comes after a state of emergency was issued over Memorial Day weekend because of unruly crowds. Wildwood city leaders hope the ban will cut down on the amount of drugs and alcohol brought to the beach.
