Lawyers for the four football fans allegedly involved in the incident appeared before a Municipal Court judge. Noticeably absent were the defendants themselves, who were excused from the first appearance.
Police have charged 40-year-old Jason Brown of Brooklyn with felony assault and gang assault.
Alexian Lien, the sport-utility vehicle driver who was attacked and beaten in a clash with bikers last month, was seen before cameras for the first time since the attack in recent days.
