NYC teachers union asks mayor to reduce class sizes
The New York City teachers union is urging Mayor Eric Adams and the Department of Education to make reducing class sizes a priority. The United Federation of Teachers says 850 high schools have space right now to meet the limits and that funding is available to make it happen.
