It happened around 3:10 p.m. Wednesday in an apartment building on Woodycrest Avenue near West 165th Street.
Police said 40-year-old Shamel James stabbed the victim from behind while she was buying a MetroCard.
The NYPD have identified the victim as 32-year-old Kemar Solomon.
It happened near 38th Street and Eighth Avenue around 9:45 p.m. Saturday.
It happened after the teen and his father exchanged information with two people in the other car, according to the NYPD.
The 55-year-old man initially told police his 6-year-old daughter was stabbed when two men tried to rob him around 12:30 a.m. Thursday.
Police say both men were found at the bottom of the stairs leading to the mezzanine area of the Morrison Avenue-Soundview station at about 4:30 a.m.
