Lottery officials say a $148 million winning Powerball ticket was sold at Merrick Gas and Repair Inc. in Merrick.
$1 million winning tickets were sold in Albany, New York and Frenchtown, New Jersey.
The winning combination for the $768 million prize is 16, 20, 37, 44, 62 and the Powerball is 12.
This is now the fourth largest U.S. lottery prize in history and the third-largest Powerball jackpot.
