The Seattle Seahawks came to the Big Apple looking to maintain its position as the top seed in the NFC playoff hunt. The New York Giants had very little to play for, since they were eliminated from playoff contention last week. Seattle dominated New York defensively and shut out the G-men, 23-0, in a lackluster affair at MetLife Stadium.
It's been that kind of year for the Giants. A year of bangs and bruises, of boneheaded throws, of subpar performances.
