This is one of my personal favorites of any pictures I've ever taken. I thought I had messed up the lighting, and in fact I did because we were in the shade of those tall buildings and moving toward the light. But the more I looked at it, the more I loved the “mystery” of who that could be. I could show this picture to someone without saying a word and maybe they would guess it's an astronaut or a soldier waving an American flag in the Canyon of Heroes.
