Yankees Unveil 2014 Spring Training Schedule
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The Yankees are set to open their 2014 spring training schedule against the Florida State Seminoles on February 25 at Steinbrenner Field.
After that, the Bronx Bombers will face the Pittsburgh Pirates in back-to-back games. The first will be away in Bradenton on February 26, before the Yankees battle the Bucs at Steinbrenner Field on February 27.
The Yankees will host the World Series champion Boston Red Sox on March 18. They will travel to Fort Myers to face the Sox at JetBlue Park on March 20.
Ahead of the regular season, the Yankees will close out their spring training campaign against the Florida Marlins in back-to-back home games on March 28 and March 29.
The Yankees open the 2014 regular season in Houston at Minute Maid Park on April 1. Opening Day in the Bronx is set for May 7 against the Baltimore Orioles.
