Yankees Baseball Debuts On WFAN With 10-Game Spring Schedule Beginning Feb. 27
NEW YORK (CBS RADIO) -- CBS RADIO's Sports Radio WFAN, the nation's first all-sports radio station and the most listened to of its kind, is ready to begin its first year of a multi-year contract as the flagship station of the New York Yankees beginning with live coverage of the team's spring training matchup versus the Pirates on Thursday, Feb. 27 (1:05 p.m., ET) from Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Fla. Sports fans can tune in to the broadcasts at WFAN-AM 660 or WFAN-FM 101.9.
WFAN's broadcast team is led by John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman, who are entering their 10th season together behind the microphone, with Sweeny Murti providing commentary during the station's pre- and postgame shows broadcast before and after all regular-season contests. Joe Girardi will be featured during the pregame "Manager's Report," and Thursdays at 5:05 p.m. with Mike Francesa on "Mike's On."

The highly-anticipated 2014 season commences on Tuesday, April 1 in Houston for a three-game series with the Astros.
