Woodson Confirms Melo And Chandler Out Vs. Clippers
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The Knicks will be without star duo Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler in Los Angeles when they face the Clippers.
Head coach Mike Woodson revealed to reporters that Anthony and Chandler will miss out against the Clippers on Sunday at Staples Center.
Anthony recently had fluid drained from the back of his right knee and Chandler is battling a bruised knee and strained neck.
It appears that Chandler is much closer to a return as Woodson said Chandler's knee isn't the main issue. Meanwhile, Anthony's timetable is uncertain as his knee problem appears far more serious.
The Knicks will conclude their road trip in Utah on Monday, before returning home to Madison Square Garden to face the Magic on Wednesday.
