Woman Killed In Morningside Heights Hit-And-Run
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A hit-and-run left a woman dead late Wednesday in Morningside Heights.
Police were called around 6 p.m. to Amsterdam Avenue and 113th Street after a driver in a black sport-utility vehicle hit the woman. The driver took off, police said.
The victim, who was in her 40s, was rushed to St. Luke's Hospital around the corner, where she was pronounced dead.
The woman's identity had not been released late Wednesday.
No one was in custody in the incident as of late Wednesday night.
