Police say the woman's body was found with multiple stab wounds in her apartment at 215 East 164th Street in the Grand Concourse section of the Bronx at around 10 p.m. Thursday night.

The woman was transported to Lincoln Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Police are now questioning the woman's husband, who police say was at the home at the time of the incident, as a person of interest.

Sources told 1010 WINS the husband has told police his wife was stabbed by two men who forced their way into the apartment.

The incident left other residents in the building on edge, 1010 WINS Roger Stern reported.

"It's strange, it's never happened here before," Samuel, a resident, said. "This is the first time I've seen this happen here.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
