Wife, Boyfriend Charged With Murder In Peekskill Cab Driver's Death
PEEKSKILL, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police have arrested a woman and her boyfriend in the murder of her cabbie husband in Peekskill earlier this week.
Terry Camper, 53, was found fatally shot on Pine Street around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday in what police are calling a planned killing, 1010 WINS' Al Jones reported.

Beatrice Camper, 60, and her boyfriend John Murray, 60, are accused of murdering the cabbie for his insurance money.
Police said Beatrice Camper enlisted her ex-con boyfriend to lure her husband to his death with a pick-up on Pine Street, WCBS 880's Marla Diamond reported.
Murray, who was released from prison 11 months ago after serving more than 30 years for a Queens murder in the 1970s, is accused of shooting the cabbie twice in the head, police said.

In the months leading up to the murder, Beatrice Camper took out two insurance policies on her husband, listing herself as the beneficiary, Police Chief Eugene Tumolo said.
"The motives for this crime were obviously driven by greed and selfishness," Tumolo said.
Beatrice Camper and Murray had been romantically involved for more than one year, police said. Their relationship began while he was in prison.
She and Murray were planning to be together after her husband's death and share his insurance benefits, police said.
Beatrice Camper and Murray are charged with second-degree murder, police said.
"I'm going to miss him," Terry Camper's sister said. "He didn't have to go like that. You don't want him, leave him; you don't have to kill him."
