White Plains Hospital Marks 'Day Of Hope' 1 Year After Admitting First COVID-19 Patient
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- White Plains Hospital is marking a day of hope, one year to the day when the hospital admitted its first COVID-19 patient.
Hospital leadership, coronavirus survivors and community members gathered to honor health care heroes as they arrived for their shifts Tuesday morning.
Early on, Westchester County was at the epicenter of the outbreak in New York.
The entire community pulled together to support the health care workers and each other.
