Westchester Student En Route Home From Egypt
NEW YORK (WCBS 880) - With her son at the American University in Cairo and no way to communicate with him, Lucy Kourides was beside herself. "It was pretty hairy," she said.

Now, 20-year-old Nick is coming home, even though it wasn't his first choice.
"He really wants to go back," says Lucy. "If it were up to him, he would not be coming home from Istanbul."
At his mother's urging, Nick made it to Istanbul on Monday to make his way back to New York. Lucy says she has no problem with Nick returning to Cairo, but she wants him at home in Westchester County until things in Egypt settle down.
