Westchester County Crash Leaves Man Dead, Car Down Embankment
HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A scary crash in Westchester County sent a car crashing down an embankment and a man dead Friday.
Chopper 2 HD was over the scene shortly after the accident Friday in the town of Hastings-on-Hudson.
Police said a man with a leaf blower was fatally struck by a car traveling along Warburton Avenue Friday.
The car then crashed through a fence and down a steep embankment, and almost landed on the Metro North railroad tracks.
The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
