West Babylon Woman Accused Of Driving High With 2-Year-Old Grandson In Car
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 54-year-old West Babylon woman is accused of being high on drugs while driving her 2-year-old grandson Wednesday morning.
Police say Donna Catania was pulled over by an officer on Arnold Avenue and Rosella Court around 10:30 a.m.
Catania was arrested after the officer determined she was impaired by drugs.
She has been charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a passenger 15-years-old or younger -- a felony under Leandra's Law, endangering the welfare or a child and driving under the influence of drugs.
Catania's grandson was released to the custody of a relative.
If convicted, what do you think the appropriate punishment should be?
