Weekend Movie Preview - Nov. 19, 2010
NEW YORK (CBS 2) - The Muggles were out at midnight, lined up to be among the first to see "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1."
The film is the seventh film based on the books by J.K. Rowling about the young wizard and his battle against the evil Lord Voldemort, who was responsible for the death of his parents.
Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint return in their roles as Harry Pottter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley.
Part 2 is slated for release in the summer of 2011.
Also opening this weekend is "The Next Three Days" - a thriller starring Russell Crowe, Elizabeth Banks, and Liam Neeson. In the film, Banks' character is imprisoned for a crime her husband, played by Crowe, is convinced she didn't convict. When appeals fail, Crowe enlists Neeson's character to help him plan a jailbreak. It is directed by Paul Haggis.
Expanding this weekend is "Fair Game" - which stars Naomi Watts and Sean Penn in the story of real-life outed CIA agent Valerie Plame and her husband John Wilson.
