3/17 CBS2 St. Patrick's Day Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Justin Lewis

Another round of showers will swing through this afternoon. There could be a thunderstorm embedded within any of these, so do be mindful of that. Regarding the St. Patrick's Day parade, it looks like the first half should be generally quiet -- just a 20 percent chance -- with scattered showers likely towards the tail end. As for temperatures, the low-to-mid 60s are in reach once again.

Some leftover showers will push through this evening, but should quiet down a bit into the overnight hours. It will be a little chilly around daybreak in the low to mid 40s.

We'll be stuck in the 50s tomorrow, with breezy conditions for much of the day. And be on the lookout again -- especially into the afternoon --because we'll see yet another round of showers push through; drier, chilly conditions are expected during the evening.

High pressure will finally give us a break on Saturday as we say "so long" to winter. And while the sun will be shining, it will be colder than it has been in recent days, with highs only in the mid 40s.

And, as of now, we're leaving in a chance of snow or rain Sunday -- we have our eyes on a potential coastal storm.

Stay tuned for more on that!
