Weather And Power Problems Leave NJ TRANSIT Commuters Delayed Again, Penn Station Packed
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Problems with overhead wires are still causing delays Thursday night for NJ TRANSIT commuters.
Up to 30 minute delays are being reported.
New York's Penn Station was packed during the evening rush. NJ TRANSIT police say a power interruption caused a loud boom which some passengers mistook for an explosion or shots fired.
Weather related signal problems have also added to the delays.
