Weather Channel's Jim Cantore Tebows During Hurricane Isaac
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- It seems the Tim Tebow effect is everywhere these days.
With all eyes Wednesday morning on New Orleans and Hurricane Isaac, Weather Channel viewers expected to see pounding rain and wind-battered television correspondents.
But they probably weren't counting on an impromptu "Tebowing."
"This is some of the strongest wind that we've had all morning," said weatherman Jim Cantore, struggling to maintain his balance while reporting from Canal Street. "It is really hard to stand up right now."
Cantore took a knee, shielded his face, and instantly realized he was imitating the Jets backup quarterback.
"Whatever it's worth, I hope I'm making Tebow proud," he said.
