EDGEWATER, NJ (WCBS 880) - In Jennifer Glussman's home in Edgewater, New Jersey, you see a remarkable order for a place that's home to a mom, a dad, two small children, and a Cocker Spaniel, too.
They have moving plans, but first, it's a summer of keeping things just so.
"You make my place as nice as you can make it look. Tell me what I have to put away and then I'll tell you what I can't put away," she says. "We put things away and you just do what you gotta do."
"It's a very difficult conversation with everybody," says realtor John Schwartz. "You're basically telling somebody it doesn't look perfect."

He starts the dialogue with photos of market-ready homes.
"Put them in the buyer's shoes. Which one are you going to buy for the same price? If I take a picture of this, how will it look," he says. "If a home shows the slightest bit of disorder in it, the potential homeowner is not going to buy it."

"They pick up on that," asked WCBS 880 reporter Paul Murnane.
"Immediately, immediately," he answered.
An avid lensman with a photographer's eye, some of his work graces the walls of the properties he's trying to sell.
One home in this complex, which he described as being in model condition, sold in about a week.
