NEW YORK (WCBS 880) - A lot happened in the month of June.
WCBS 880 afternoon driver anchor Wayne Cabot has compiled it into our special month in review Audiofile.

First, now former Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-New York) said a photo of a man's bulging briefs sent from his Twitter account was a prank. Eventually, he admitted it was him and later resigned. In that period, Rep. Charles Rangel even weighed in.
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie realized he needed to save some face and pay the state back for use of an official helicopter for transportation to his son's baseball game.
"This is a really fun media story for all of you. I get it," said Christie.

Scott Pelley took over for Katie Couric as anchor and managing editor of the CBS Evening News.
"You can't imagine what a head spinner that is!" said Pelley.
There were mountain lions spotted in Connecticut.
"Greenwich police have received three reports of a large cat prowling backyards," reported WCBS 880's Sean Adams. "The people, in every case, they insist it has to be a mountain lion. It's that big."
There was tragedy in Medford, Long Island when a man shot and killed four people at the Haven Drugs pharmacy.
New York State passed a law allowing same-sex marriage.
"More pride than usual at the Gay Pride Parade in New York City," reported Jim Taylor on CBS Radio News.
Gov. Chris Christie got testy when asked about the fact that he sends his children to private school, saying, "It's none of your business."
Christie also signed a major bill into law, requiring public workers to pay more for their pensions and health benefits.
Also, a music great was lost. Clarence Clemons, saxophone player for Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, died at age 69.
