Water Main Break Closes All Lanes Of Route 3 East Near MetLife Stadium
EAST RUSTERFORD, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A water main break in front of MetLife Stadium that has been causing delays all day has stretched into the early evening.
The water main break forced crews to close all eastbound lanes of Route 3 in East Rutherford.

Traffic has been backed all day as crews continue to repair the pipe, which broke around 2:15 a.m. east of Route 17. Traffic is being redirected, but drivers experienced delays during the afternoon rush.
NJ TRANSIT is cross-honoring bus tickets and passes on its Pascack Valley, Main/Bergen County, and Montclair-Boonton train lines as a result.
