WATCH: Mets Fans Brawl In Stands During 50 Cent Concert
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A post-game concert turned ugly on Saturday for some who stuck around for 50 Cent and G-Unit at Citi Field.
Two videos uploaded to YouTube show fans grabbing, choking and punching each other during a wild brawl in the stands. One man in a blue New York Mets shirt was dragged to the ground and held down by his throat.
The clips show the fight being broken up by Mets fans and other concert-goers.
Shannon Shark of MetsPolice.com wrote that the atmosphere at the stadium was souring well before the concert even started.
"The crowd was spiraling down into that annoying drunk yelling/heckling that can ruin an entire section's enjoyment. So we left," Shark wrote.
Shark added: "There was no security to be seen. No ushers. No easily findable 'contact the Mets if…' number (that) they mention about 45 minutes before the game and it is never mentioned again."
50 Cent is now 0-for-2 at the Mets' home ballpark. His ceremonial first pitch last month was widely panned as arguably the worst in baseball history.
