Washington Heights Sex Assault Suspect At Large
NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- A search continued Wednesday for the suspect in frightening attack in a Washington Heights apartment building.
Police said the man followed a woman into the building near 179th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue Monday morning and sexually assaulted her inside an elevator.
The victim was treated and released at a hospital.
The suspect fled the scene.
Police were asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect, who was caught on video.
