Wake, Funeral Set For Officer Killed In NYPD Van Crash
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Funeral arrangements have been released for the rookie NYPD officer who died in a crash over the weekend.
A wake will be held Wednesday for Officer Michael Williams. The funeral will be held Thursday at a church in Lagrangeville, New York.
Williams was killed Sunday when a police van he was in hit a barrier on the Bruckner Expressway in the Bronx. Eight other officers in the van were injured.
Williams had been on the force for just nine months. He was 25 years old.
