Voters Urged To Report Problems At The Polls
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Mayor Michael Bloomberg is urging voters to use technology to report any technical problems at the polls Tuesday.

Bloomberg is advising residents to call the 311 hotline or post messages online if they encounter anything that prevents or delays them from voting.
During the September primary election many of the new electronic scanning machines malfunctioned and polling sites opened hours late.
As a result, the board of the elections fired its executive director last week.
Board of Elections President Julie Dent said workers will get to polling sites an hour early to set up and is assuring voters that there will not be a repeat Tuesday of the problems which occurred during the primary election.
