Violent Muggers Hit Northern New Jersey
TEANECK, NJ (WCBS 880) - On Wednesday night at 8 p.m. on busy Teaneck Road in Teaneck, masked thugs assaulted a man and stole $1,000.

About a mile away, there was another robbery.
"Near Prospect Terrace in Teaneck, the suspect pulled up to the area to drop someone off. While he was sitting in his car, an unknown male suspect entered the vehicle and committed the robbery," Detective Lieutenant Andrew McGursk told WCBS 880 reporter Sean Adams.
McGursk says that man, too, was wearing a mask. His gun discharged during a struggle and grazed the victim's forehead.
In Clifton, there have been four violent muggings in the past week. Two men are suspected there. One is a lookout and driver.
In the latest incident, the victim was tackled and pistol-whipped.
