Victor Cruz Shakes Off Neck Injury, Returned To Game In Giants' Win
PHILADELPHIA (CBSNewYork/AP) — New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz briefly left Sunday's game against Philadelphia and needed X-rays on his neck.
But he returned to the field in the fourth quarter.
Cruz left in the third quarter with New York leading the Eagles 12-0. Cruz had five catches for 64 yards. He appeared to be hurt when he was slammed to the ground after a catch.
The Giants went on to win the game 15-7. Cruz is New York's top receiver and entered the game leading the team in catches and yards, and had four touchdowns.
