Utica Fugitive Caught In Brooklyn After Taunting Police On Facebook
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Well, he did say "Catch me if you can. I'm in Brooklyn.''
Those were the words posted on the Facebook page of a fugitive wanted in upstate New York that eventually landed him behind bars.
NYPD detectives and US marshals found the suspect, 29-year-old Victor Burgos at an apartment in Bedford-Stuyvesant Monday night.
Officials say Burgos is wanted in Utica on multiple arrest warrants for domestic violence and harassment of his former girlfriend.
He allegedly issued the Facebook challenge after his mug shot appeared on the Utica Police Department's 10 most wanted list.
