Fire Breaks Out At Upper East Side High School
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A fire broke out early Friday morning inside a high school on Manhattan's Upper East Side.
The FDNY responded around 1 a.m. to Regis High School on East 84th Street.
Investigators said the fire started in a science classroom on the fifth floor.
No chemicals were burned and no injuries were reported.
Firefighters had the flames under control after about an hour.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
