Ugly Weather Leads To Beautiful Double Rainbow In Manhattan

Take Sunday for example. Heavy rain, wind and thunderstorms pounded the Tri-State Area for hours, yet after the storms passed, a beautiful double rainbow engulfed Manhattan.
Several pictures of the multi-colored work of nature made it around cyberspace, including one that mesmerized one of the Big Apple's funniest residents.
Jerry Seinfeld tweeted a picture of yesterday's double rainbow, saying, "Amazing Double Rainbow in Manhattan!"
His reaction, while appreciative, was not as intense as the viral web classic.
Unfortunately, the calm after the storm didn't last. Intermittent heavy rain has been battering the area today, and thunderstorms are possible Monday evening.
Perhaps we will see another double rainbow? Or perhaps a triple rainbow?
