FDA Moves To Approve COVID Vaccine Booster Shots For 16 And 17-Year-Olds
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The U.S. is one step closer to expanding COVID vaccine boosters shots to 16 and 17-year-olds.
The Food and Drug Administration ruled Thursday teens as young as 16 can get a third Pfizer dose as long as it has been six months since their last shot.
The decision now heads to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for final approval.
