'U-S-A' Chants Take Over The Subway System (Or Not) After Bin Laden's Death
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - New Yorkers, who at this point are used to various shenanigans on the subways, seem to be divided on the "U-S-A, U-S-A" chant.
Here's the scene that played out beneath Times Square the night Osama bin Laden got killed.
The best we can figure out is that when the chant is organic, it seems to take off.
When somebody deliberately tries to get the crowd going, the result is the usual indifference, and scorn.
