Authorities: Two Suspects Arrested In Irvington Sex Assault
IRVINGTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Two men have been arrested in connection with a violent sexual assault in Irvington, according to law enforcement authorities.
The victim, an 18-year-old college student, was attacked around 7:30 p.m. Monday as she was returning home from school, authorities said.

The victim told police she initially spotted the suspects when she got off a bus at the corner of Lyons Avenue and Coit Street. Authorities in Essex County said the pair tried to strike up a conversation with the victim, who rebuffed them.
When that occurred, the suspects pulled out a gun and physically forced her into Irvington Park, where she said she was raped by both men, 1010 WINS' Steve Sandberg reported.
The suspects fled the scene after robbing the victim of her backpack and cellphone, authorities said.
Working on a description from the victim, authorities tracked down and arrested two suspects overnight, Sandberg reported.
Derrick Baker, 26, and a 17-year-old boy, both from Newark, are facing sex assault, robbery and weapons offenses charges, Sandberg reported.
Police said they also recovered an air gun made to look like a semiautomatic pistol.
