Two Men Hospitalized Following Compressor Explosion At NJ Workshop
CLIFTON, NJ (AP) -- Two men were hospitalized after a compressor apparently exploded at a northern New Jersey cabinet workshop.
It wasn't immediately clear what caused the blast at Dey Woodworking in Clifton, which occurred around 10:30 a.m. Saturday. But federal, state and local officials remained on scene for several hours, seeking clues and talking to witnesses.
Clifton police tell The Record newspaper that one man was seriously injured in the blast, while another suffered lesser injuries. They declined to provide further details, saying only that both men were being treated at a hospital.
No other injuries were reported.
