TSA Screener Accused Of Stealing iPads At JFK Airport
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A veteran Transportation Security Administration screener is under arrest for allegedly stealing Apple iPads and other items from passengers' luggage at John F. Kennedy Airport.
Sean Henry, 32, of Brooklyn was nabbed in a sting operation using decoy bags, police said.
Henry was arrested after leaving work carrying two planted iPads and other electronic devices in his bag, police said.
More stolen items were found in his home, police said.
Henry, a 10-year veteran of the TSA, has been charged with grand larceny and official misconduct.
