VIDEO: Trump Name Removed From Upper West Side Buildings
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- President-elect Donald Trump's name has come down from three buildings on the Upper West Side.
On Wednesday, workers removed the letters from the "Trump Place" buildings, which will now go by their street addresses -- 140, 160 and 180 Riverside Boulevard.
More than 600 people signed an online petition calling for the name change.
Building management said the change is "to assume a neutral building identity that appeals to all current and future residents" following Trump's presidential election win.
