"I am tired of winter," one man told 1010 WINS' John Montone. "Last Friday was too much of a teaser."
New Jersey residents were also caught unaware by the early spring snow.
Norman Trotter of Sparta thought he was through with snow blowing. "I thought that I would prep it for next year and that would be the end of the season," he told CBS 2's John Metaxas.

There was no need for school buses Wednesday as kids got yet another snow day. The plows were out instead.
"It's a good thing we have no school because we have a long time to do it," said plow driver Kathy Thee.
However, some were willing to embrace what could possibly be the last snowfall of the season.
"Great. Can never have too much snow," gushed Rich Gianella of Newfoundland. "Doesn't bother me. It's beautiful and it will be gone in no time anyway."
Forecasters expected a mix of snow, rain and sleet for Wednesday night. The city could be covered with up to an inch of snow and areas north and west of the city could see an additional 1 to 3 inches.
