Tickets can be purchased in 44 states, including New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
"We've sold tons of tickets. I can't even keep count anymore," Ft. Lee convenience store employee Ibrahim Ismail told CBS2's Ilana Gold.
As 1010 WINS' Darius Radzius reported, people across the area are rushing to get tickets.
"All you need is a dollar and a dream -- or two dollars and a dream," said one Long Island resident.
"I'm not gonna win but it's worth the $20," said another.
But that's not stopping Adam Anderson, of East Setauket, from dreaming big.
"Oh I'd pay off my house, pay off all my bills," he said.
Jimmy Daugherty, of West Islip, hopes to win at least some of the jackpot.
"I'm in a pool at work with a bunch of guys," he said. "Thirty guys, divided by whatever it is after taxes; if it's enough to cover my mortgage I'd be very happy."
But as Gold reported, the odds of getting a winning ticket and matching all six numbers is 1 in 175 million.
Numbers were drawn Saturday night. They are: 34, 58, 5, 21, 10 and 33. Did you win?
