Tri-State Area Will Be Hit By Another Round Of Snow On Saturday
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The Tri-State Area is getting ready for another blast of winter this weekend.
CBS 2's Elise Finch reported that snow was expected to begin falling at around 11 a.m. Saturday, with possible accumulations of 1-4 inches in New York City, 2-3 inches on Long Island and 3-6 inches in the northern and western suburbs.
For points farther south, the rain-snow line will stretch from Monmouth County to the South Shore of Suffolk County.
"Compared to Wednesday's event, there will be less wind and less rain for most of the area," Finch said. "But because the rain-snow line will be farther south, New York City will have the chance to see a few inches of snow."
