Tractor Trailer Accident Snarls Traffic On Cross Bronx Expressway
NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- If at all possible, drivers should avoid the Cross Bronx Expressway Friday.
Several vehicles, including a tractor trailer, were involved in an accident on the westbound side at Jerome Avenue.
All westbound lanes were closed early Friday morning, but the left lane has since been reopened.
Two lanes on the eastbound side were restricted to only emergency vehicles.
The accident led to delays of up to one hour, and traffic extending as far back as the New Jersey side of the George Washington Bridge.
