Connecticut Tourists Arrested After Climbing Brooklyn Bridge, Sources Say
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Two tourists from Connecticut were arrested Saturday morning after attempting to climb up a beam on the Brooklyn Bridge.
The men, identified by the New York Post as Sean Cody, 25, and Scott Lockett, 24, were arrested after trying to scale a beam in the middle of the bridge shortly after 6 a.m.
Sources told CBS2 the men told police they were climbing the bridge because they wanted to take photos of the sunrise.
The men were arrested without incident and were charged with reckless endangerment and trespassing.
