American Idol winner Phillip Phillips performs live at Best Buy Theater tonight. The platinum-selling artist has made quite a name for himself since being crowned the winner back in 2012. Come sing along to his first hits "Home" and "Gone, Gone, Gone" and listen to his singles from his latest CD called Behind the Light. Tickets are $45 and concert begins at 8 p.m.

Fans of Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park can watch a whole new version of the movie when Kyle Schaefer, Nick Abeel, and foley artist Kelsey Didion perform a live, shot for shot remake of the epic dinosaur film at the Peoples Improv Theatre tonight. Yep, it's happening. Show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are $12 at the door, $10 online, $1 for students.

Central Park's rugged northern landscapes offer one of the few remaining windows into the original terrain of New York City. The area known as the Fort Landscape includes rocky overlooks where soldiers built fortifications during the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812. Tonight, Steven H. Jaffe (City Museum), Richard W. Hunter (Hunter Associates) and Sara Cedar Miller (Central Park Conservancy) will present new discoveries about its history, spanning the past 200 years. A reception will also follow tonight's lecture. Event begins at 6:30 p.m. and tickets are $25 for general public, $15 for museum and Central Park Conversancy members.
