As a cozy East Village trattoria, Spina is more of an unwinding dinner restaurant than a hopping happy hour spot, but this spring they added killer drink specials to sip after-work by the bar or al fresco. Tuesday - Friday from 5:30 to 8 p.m., draft beers are $3, and glasses of wine are $6. Need a bite with your booze? Plates of meatballs or mussels are only $5 to accompany drink specials. This St. Mark's bar may be full of NYU and Cooper Union students, but it's no frat-centric watering hole. Get cozy on long oak benches and tables inside or head to the front porch to enjoy happy hour specials outdoors Mon-Fri, 3pm-8pm of $5 selected cocktails and $4 beers. Don't miss Bua's grilled cheese on Pullman, offered with four gourmet cheese options for under $8 each to soak up your happy hour sins.
