Thanksgiving Baby Delivered In Newark With Help Of Police, Firefighters
NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- There's a brand-new Thanksgiving baby in Newark.
According to authorities, police officers from the Newark Police Emergency Response Unit and firefighters from Newark Fire Engine 6 came to the aid of a woman giving birth at an apartment on Hunderson Street at around 7:30 a.m. Thursday morning.
The police and fire teams worked together to help deliver the brand new baby girl, authorities said.
The mother and child were taken to a nearby hospital in good condition.
