Testing Continues At School Building In Rockland
NEW CITY, N.J. (CBS 2) -- Hundreds of students in Rockland County kept out of their elementary school by a foul odor probably won't be back in the building before the end of the week.
School officials in New City said so far environmental testing at Laurel Plains Elementary School deemed the building and grounds safe.
However, the tests have not revealed the cause of a sewer-like smell that made several staffers sick in September.
Kids will be taught at a nearby high school while more tests are conducted.
