Thousands Of Tesla Vehicles Recalled Over Potential Cruise Control Problem
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Tesla is recalling more than 285,000 vehicles made in China over a potential cruise control problem.
According to the company, the cruise control system could be activated by mistake, resulting in accidental acceleration.
About 250,000 vehicles, Model 3 and Model Y, made at the Shanghai factory are being recalled.
The problem can be fixed with a free software upgrade either remotely or at a dealership.
